How long does a tune actually take?

Most tune-only and bolt-on packages are same-day — book in, and drive out with the gains verified on our dyno. Bigger jobs like a turbo upgrade, engine build or transmission build take longer; we'll give you a realistic timeframe when you book.

Will a tune void my factory warranty?

Under Australian Consumer Law, a manufacturer can't void your entire warranty just because you've fitted an aftermarket part or tune — they can only decline a claim if they can show the modification actually caused the fault. That said, warranty policies and dealer interpretations vary, so if you're unsure about your specific vehicle and warranty, it's worth checking directly with your manufacturer or dealer, or asking us and we'll talk you through it.

How much does a tune cost?

Custom tunes start from $990–$1,495 depending on the platform — see the pricing on each vehicle's page for specifics. Bolt-on packages and bigger builds are quoted once we know your combination and goals, so get in touch for a firm number.

Is a custom dyno tune safe for my engine?

That's the whole point of tuning on our own in-house dyno rather than selling an off-the-shelf file — every calibration is developed and verified on your specific vehicle, watching the same parameters (knock, EGTs, boost, fuel trims) a factory calibrator would watch, before you drive away.

Do you tune automatics as well as manuals?

Yes — the vast majority of what we tune is automatic. Transmission calibration (shift firmness, shift points) can be part of the package on platforms where that's supported.

What if my vehicle isn't on your website?

The platforms on our pages are just our most popular — we unlock and program pretty much any type of ECU across petrol and diesel engines, including hybrids and select EVs. If you don't see it listed, just ask.

Can I add upgrades later instead of doing it all at once?

Yes — every package we build is designed to stack. Start with a tune-only stage now, and add an intake, exhaust, intercooler, cams or forced induction later. A touch-up tune is normally required once the new hardware is fitted, to make sure the calibration matches what's actually on the car.

Do I need to book ahead?

Yes, we recommend booking ahead. We're open Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with Saturdays available by appointment. Get in touch and we'll find a time that works.
